Why We Started Mai Nami
It began with a simple question: What if one product was actually enough?
Wavy hair can sometimes feel complicated. It’s not straight, not curly, and it’s often misunderstood. That’s where the idea for Mai Nami began. Instead of creating another “miracle” product, we thought: what if we made what’s missing? A calm, intentional solution that works with waves, not against them. Something that feels good to use, respects both the hair and the body, and doesn’t rely on five steps or clever marketing to prove its worth. Unlike leave-in masks layered onto wet hair, our Pudding is a single styling step that gives salon-quality definition without damage or buildup.
So, we built Mai Nami.
A brand with care, clarity and culture. A homage to where we come from and what we have lived. A blend of Middle Eastern warmth with Japanese mindfulness. Designed for routines you can actually live with, bodies that deserve care, and the hair that should feel understood.

“Maï”
“Water” in Arabic, evoking hydration, purity, and life- giving nourishment.

“Nami”
“Wave” in Japanese, symbolizing natural movement,
power, and the beauty of wavy hair.
We believe haircare should feel like care
That the best formula should work with your texture, not against it. We are not here to overcomplicate your routine, we are here to offer clarity. Fewer steps, cleaner ingredients, and results you can feel. A honest brand with a honest product.
Wavy Hair Mastery
Our Pudding is gentle and hydrating, with strengthening ingredients that support your hair’s health. It enhances your natural wave pattern for a soft, defined bounce. We aim on delivering salon-level results without weighing your hair down.
Functional Health
Our product is free from endocrine disruptors and harsh additives. It is created with ingredients allowed in food, safely and naturaly ingested by your body, toxin-free ingredients (no sulfates, parabens, silicones) and respects the natural balance of your hair and scalp.
Community
A wave is more substantial with others beside it.
We are building a community of wavy-hair people through shared spaces, honest storytelling, and inclusive workshops. We want our community to share tips, routines, and success stories, creating a supportive peer network.
